In reaction, the anti-graft agency twitted, “Recovered funds are paid into the consolidated revenue account of the Federal Government.’’
The development is coming at a time, when so many well meaning Nigerians have asked President Buhari and his Economic Team, to explain to Nigerians, what he did with the numerous recovered loots, most especially at a time he is planning to borrow over N9 trillion.
Asked of those who defrauded the nation, and ran outside the shores of the country for protection, the agency noted that there was no hiding place for looters.
It said, “Our network of partners include the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), and other International Law Enforcement Agencies.“Perpetrators cannot hide forever. Send a petition,” it said in response to an enquiry by one Biyi Soremekun.
