BREAKING: Supreme Court Confirms Seriake Dickson As Bayelsa Governor....

The Supreme Court on Tuesday declared that Seriake Dickson was validly elected as Bayelsa Governor. The seven-member panel of judges gave the ruling following an appeal by Timipre Sylva, candidate of the Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in the elections.

Mr. Dickson’s election as governor had earlier been ratified by the election tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
