Why Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN attacked NBA’s resolution to suspend the alleged corrupt Justices is because the suggestion did not go down well with him and it will hinder his access of bribering (as usual) the Justices handling some of his crooked cases for example the current Abia State Governorship matter of which he is the leading Attorney of the embattling Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu.
I read on the newspaper the mindset of the Ekiti state born Ogboni fraternity leader who kicked against the resolution of NBA in his home town Ekere Ekiti where he was conferred a Chieftancy tittle, Asiwaju of Ekere, Ekiti State. I learn’t that the occasion almost turned out to be a gathering of Ogboni secret court members amongst his friends. Okezie Ikpeazu the governor of Abia who happens to be his client was at the occasion too and also to discuss the fate of his tax fraud case that will decide at the supreme court by the month of November, though the hearing date has not been fixed.
He knows how to forum shop, by sourcing for judges/courts that are likely to give judgments in his favour. He usually tells his Clients boldly that all they need to do in order to get the judgment is to bring a humongous amount of money and once there is enough money he knows how to penetrate those judges and justices.
This sudden attack on NBA calls for serious concern because when the NBA’s tone was favorable to his antics, he stood by them in a Live telecast with the new NBA President where they demanded that the judges be released immediately and unconditionally. But now that NBA has come up with an unbiased resolution, Wole will go a long to castigate NBA on media, a body he was once their President.
My question is whether these attacks on NBA and federal government DSS by Wole Olanipekun over the isssues of corrupt judges who were caught with huge evidences potray a good image of an NBA former President or shows good example of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
Tell me why Wole should be against the Federal government decision of raiding the corrupt judges if not that he thrives on their judgements. In all the cases that are raising the dusts of briberies, Wole happens to be the leading Attorney.
Federal government and DSS should be aware of Wole Olanipekun and checkmate his excesses. Both the Bribe Giver and Taker are corrupt, and should be dealt with accordingly since corrupt judges benefit from corrupt Attorneys.
There is no way Wole Olanipekun will be absolved from being questioned, since all those cases in question were handled by him. It is only people in the Judiciary that should know the easiest and safest ways of bribing justices seating over their cases to favor them. Even the ongoing case of Abia State governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and another PDP Aspirant Dr. Uche Ogah which Wole is also involved as the Defence Counsel should be given a serious attention to, if not Wole will still bribe their way through.
I hope that one day, the DSS will catch him red handed, prosecute and nail him for his involvement in bribery and corruption, since the judiciary body is already aware of his antics and remained silent over it.
My take here is that the Judiciary should support the Presdent Buhari fight against corruption and anybody who knows where things are going wrong should boldly come out and say it just like i did.
