President Muhammadu Buhari is reportedly under pressure to ‘re-organise his cabinet’, against the back drop of performance evaluation reports, Post-Nigeria gathered.
Buhari is reportedly said to have been miffed by reports of non-performance of many of his Ministers.
Post-Nigeria’s investigation revealed that ahead of the speculation of a looming cabinet overhaul, most appointees of the President are jittery, as they have nothing on their score cards.
1. Kemi Adeosun – Finance Minister

Nigerians have always had issues with Adeosun, who before her appointment was only a Commissioner of Finance, in Ogun State, with no credential on a national or international platform like her predecessor.
She does not inspire confidence, and her antecedents even when she makes statements, do not carry the weight as expected from someone occupying such an important position in a nation like Nigeria.
Again, ‘Recession is a word’: The comments which was made via a Twitter account associated with her (and confirmed by a corroborating video), upset people even more, making her out to be tone deaf, and out of touch with the sufferings of Nigerians. Without any doubt, Mrs Kemi Adeosun is set to receive her sack letter any moment from now.
2. Aisha Alhassan – Women Affairs Minister

“Mama Taraba” as a Minister of Women Affairs, many Nigerians had expected that she would have been at the fore front of the Chibok girls agenda.
She has failed woefully to interface with the BringBackOurGirls campaign group, which has made Buhari to lose sleep.
For the fact that Mama spent over 5 months of her ministerial position battling with treatment abroad, there is need for Buhari to do more at appointing those capable, and that can really take the country to the dream land Nigerians desire. That being said, Mama Taraba would have to give way for someone with a vision to transform the Women Affairs Ministry, to step in.
3. Geoffrey Onyeama – Foreign Affairs Minister

Onyeama, is said to have failed to manage Buhari’s public and international perception, that has been traced to the lack of a foreign policy agenda.
Buhari’s reputation in the global scene is nose-diving, over the recent call by the U.S Congressman, dissuading the American President to stop giving financial aid to Nigeria.
Nigeria as the giant of Africa still does not have a focused foreign policy agenda.
4. Solomon Dalung – Sports Minister

The boys scout Minister, as he is fondly called, was recently voted as the most incompetent Minister in Buhari’s cabinet, in a poll organised by popular social commentator, Kayode Ogundamisi, on his Twitter page.
Since he was sworn in as Nigeria’s Sports Minister, Dalung has been in the news for the wrong reasons.
He was indicted in the crisis rocking the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, which contributed in no small measure to the inability of the Super Eagles to qualify for the 2017 African Cup of Nations.
Perhaps, what irked Nigerians most, was the shambolic preparation of the country’s team to the just concluded Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
There was the ticket crisis, where athletes had to beg on the social media for ticket money, among other damnable allegations against him. Dalung has no reason to remain as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
5. Udoma Udo Udoma – Minister of National Planning and Budget

Many Nigerians have described the Minister as a square peg in a round hole, following the 2016 budget of Change padding saga, coupled with the biting economic recession.
While calling for his removal, Dino Maleye, a Senator Representing Kogi West said: Udoma’s appointment to that position is nepotism taken to very ridiculous heights; and a classic case of putting round pegs in square holes, it will, and can never fit. It is akin to saddling a carpenter with a tailor’s responsibility.
The outcome under the circumstances, have become evidently clear, and it is bound to be catastrophic for the economy. President Buhari must therefore, do the needful now, by relieving Udoma of this huge burden that constitutes a clog to the revival of the Nigerian economy.
6. Adamu Adamu – Minister of Education

The Minister of Education, is definitely on the watch list of the President, if he listens to the impulse and messages from the public.
The controversies trailing the Ministers pronouncement and infringement on universities policy and autonomy; the issues of Post-Jamb registration, the battle for the survival of Vice Chancellorship in tertiary institutions, and the blunder of sacking before reinstatement of the Heads of Universities, established by the former President, Goodluck Jonathan, might be reasons why President Buhari may consider Adamu as a goner. The call for his sack is gathering momentum and heating up by the day.
7. Usani Uguru – Minister of Niger Delta Affairs

With the recent crisis rocking the Delta region, coupled with the unending blasts of oil installations, Uguru has not been pro-active enough to step up his game with the Niger Delta Militants. With all the consultation going on, Uguru, the self-acclaimed Pastor, has not been on the negotiation table.
8. Okechukwu Enelemah – Minister of Trade and Investment

Trade and Investment, should be one of the Ministries to rescue the dilemma currently facing the present administration. Under his watch, there has been no major foreign investment, and most of the international companies that were operating in Nigeria, are either packing up, or have since packed up, while the indigenous ones are folding up daily.
