A former local government caretaker committee chairman under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Okitipupa Local Government Area, Ondo State, southwest Nigeria, Evangelist Niyi Pirisola has been reportedly assassinated by unknown gunmen. nawa

He was killed by unidentified gunmen in the early hours of Friday. A source said that, “He was killed in the early hours of today (Friday) at about 3:00 am while returning from a branch of Celestial Church of Christ at Ilutuntun in his hometown.”
