Soldiers from the 33 artillery Brigade, Bauchi have killed 4 suspected armed robbers and arrested 10 suspected serial kidnappers.
The soldiers carried out the operation in various forests in many parts of the state as part of a wider ongoing operation tagged ‘Operation Forest Kunama’ being conducted across the state.
Assistant Director Army Public Relations of the brigade, Major Joseph Afolashade disclosed this while briefing journalists on the development at ‘Shadawanka’ army barracks.
He said that the special operation was conducted as directed by the Chief of Army Staff, General Tukur Buratai, which aimed at flushing out all criminals taking refuge in thick forests and other hiding places in the state.
