HRH S.O. Ikhumwen (JP), the Onojie of Ewatto, has rejected an offer of a Prado Jeep dangled at him by the outgoing government of Edo State for him to endorse the APC candidate, Godwin Obaseki in the forthcoming Edo 2016 gubernatorial election.

Responding to an emissary from the APC to his palace, the none-compromising monarch advised the APC government in the state to rather use the money for buying of the Jeeps to settle the arrears of suffering local government council workers and pensioners.

“Keep your Prado Jeep. I don’t need it. Go and pay local government workers and pensioners. They are suffering” Onojie of Ewatto said.
