The Unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable and we stand for and would, in all honesty, do all within our power to contribute positively to a stronger and united Nigeria, the National Youth Wing of Host Communities Producing Oil and Gas in Nigeria (HOSTCOM) has pledged.
The National Youth President, HOSTCOM, Success Samuel, stated this in Abuja while addressing newsmen.
He said Nigeria would remain one indivisible nation and 'we shall continue to work to together to achieve greatness.'
According to him, “Permit me at this juncture to state unequivocally that we are fully in support of Mr. President’s leadership of this nation and his effort to rid this nation of endemic corruption that has bedevilled our common wealth.
Continuing he said, ''We are also resolute in our solidarity for President Muhammadu Buhari on a ‘’united Nigerian nation” where equity and justice prevail. We are Nigerians, we are proud to be one indivisible nation. We shall continue to work with the President as no other nation on the surface of the earth is as blessed as the Federal Republic of Nigeria.''
“More so, our President is the only president in the world that has provided a solution in the UN 72 meeting to a lingering world problem that would have led to another world war through South and North Korea against the United States of America.”
On the current effort by the Federal Government to uplift Niger Delta youths, Samuel, noted:
“It is noteworthy that presently our youths are undergoing serious training on pipeline surveillance to protect and crush vandals in the creeks to enhance production of oil and gas from the Niger Delta region.
'' This kind of training is essential to ensure that the youths are faced with reality of the fact that the Federal Government considers the members of the host communities as an integral part of the factors essential for national development.”
''More especially considering the host communities youths into the ministerial fold or cabinet as the federal executive members of the council.”, he added.
