The former Anambra Governor, Peter Obi has reteirate his intentions to becoming the president of Nigeria in 2019. The former governor also lambasted the sit at home order by IPOB as a mark of respect for the fallen heroes of the civil war.
According to Obi, IPOB and all it's sister agitators are criminals who do not have any investment outside the Southeast. Peter Obi queried the economic gain and cultural rational behind ordering Igbos all over the nation to sit at home on the 30th of May. He claimed that those men and women who called themselves members of IPOB and MASSOB are not in any way fighting for the general course and interest of the Igbos. He accuse the leader of IPOB Mazi. Nnamdi Kanu who was released from detention of committing several crimes against Nigeria and that is the reason his bail condition is twisted. Obi went on to say that the pro-Biafran groups , IPOB and MASSOB are rebels and outlaws and claimed that Ndi Igbo rejects them. The Igbo rejects any reason that will affect their economy or cause the disintegration of Nigeria.
Speaking further at his Lagos home at Osborne Towers on Tuesday Obi said and I quote, "It is greed that caused the the emergence of IPOB or MASSOB" He claimed that an average Igbo man is a betrayer who can kill his blood relations for easy money. He also was quoted to say that the two groups IPOB and MASSOB and others that are about to spring up are not exception, they want to get rich quick. They are saboteurs and disorganized criminals who betrays the Igbos for money. Who are these agitation he queried? These are group of urchins who are in great despair and needed rehabilitation. He picked Nnamdi Kanu as a case study and confirmed that Nnamdi Kanu left his Obtaining by trick business in London when it is evident to him that Mugus are not many again.Peter Obi queries How can any right thinking Igbo man support and calls for support for the stupid and wicked ideologies of the famous rebel and rascal called Nnamdi Kanu who happened to be causing more harm than good in our beloved country Nigeria?
Obi called on all important Igbo men and women to distance themselves from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu antics at trying to sell ndigbo for a pot of porridge. Obi was adamant that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not fighting for the independence of Biafra. Sir Gregory Peter Obi, who became emotional with tearful teary eyes said that the tears is for Ndi Igbo, He confirmed to us that he will be contesting the 2019 Presidential election. He said that the Igbos needs leaders like him who can fight and get their ration of national cake from the when elected and that's why he joined the Anambra Central senatorial race, at this point , he implored Igbos and Anambrarians to support him in the re-run Senatorial election and subsequent Presidential election in 2019
Speaking further from Ikoyi, Sir Peter Obi went on to say that the Igbos should learn to accommodate others, that in the North, good number of Igbos lives there, marry, make children and do their businesses in comfortable environments without anybody disturbing them. He said that he do not see the reason why herdsmen won't be allowed to have grazing field in South east and South south when the Igbos claims that we are in one Nigeria as a nation. He said that the herdsmen are peaceful and should be allowed to rear their cows and cattle in any part of the country they choose without interruption from any quarter. Finally, Sir Gregory Peter Obi said that the herdsmen should also be allowed to go about with AK47 and other dangerous weapons for self defense in case because in the course of their duty, they are exposed to serious danger because of the terrain of the habitat.
