A popular journalist attached to African Independent Television (AIT), Nengi Fynecountry, who once won an Excellence award for malaria is confirmed dead.
Meanwhile, the details of her shocking death was not ascertained during press time,but a very reliable source at the Television revealed that the talented broadcaster whose reportage has become synonymous with AIT News, died after a brief illness.
The astute media professional and journalist par excellence from Bonny Kingdom in Rivers state, died on Sunday after she suddenly took ill few days before she passed away.
It was gathered that her death has thrown the entire Daar Communications family in Rivers state into mourning as she became third member of staff of the Station that has died in the past few months.
Friends, family and loved ones, have already taken to social media, to write tributes to her.
