HRM (Eze) Israel Okwu Kanu, father of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has declared that President Muhammadu Buhari is not only an enemy of his family but the entire Igbo race.

He stated this while fielding questions in an interview with THE SUN. He minced no words by saying that Buhari hates the Igbos which he attributed flouting of court orders for his son's release while in detention. 

He also chastised Buhari for what he described as making a mockery of the judicial process.

Asked in the interview how he regards President Buhari now that his son is out, he said,''I wouldn’t say an enemy of the family, but that of the Igbo race because I have never seen this type of hatred of a people before. The court will rule to set a person free and the president who is supposed to be the father of all will say no, making a mockery of the judiciary in the process.''
