Chuks Okebata, who is a Nigerian US soldier and a native of Umuduruorie Umuomumu Mbieri in Mbaitoli, Imo state was murdered after he came back home to Nigeria.

A Facebook user, Ada Mbaeri, who said he was her brother recently shared videos of his wife threatening to call the police on him before he came to Nigeria and got murdered.
In the videos shared on Facebook, it could be seen that his wife threatened to send Okebata to jail unless he left their home and two sons.
The two boys who did not want their father to go anywhere were weeping uncontrollably when the deceased told them he was leaving so that he wouldn’t end up in jail.
The deceased returned home to Nigeria after being away for so long and ended up dead after a few days into his visit. He was abducted and shot dead on Thursday, January 12.
A sum of N2.5 million has been placed as a reward for anyone with information on the murderers.
